# Stellar

Welcome all, to this quick guide on how you can set-up a Stellar wallet account directly from Stellar. Additionally, this will also include steps on how you can fund that wallet so it can be activated

1\. First, go to [**laboratory.stellar.org**](https://laboratory.stellar.org/)

2\. Click on **Create Account**

3\. Select **Public Account** on the top right corner.

4\. Click on **Generate Keypair**. This will generate your **Public Key** and **Secret Key.** (Make sure you save them in a secure place!)

5\. The next step is to fund the wallet. You need to send **at least 2 Stellar Lumens** to your **public key** (aka wallet address) **to activate your wallet.**

6\. Once you’ve sent funds to your new wallet, you can verify the transaction on the Stellar Explorer at [**StellarChain.io**](http://stellarchain.io/)**.** To do this paste your public key in the top right corner search bar and this will locate your transaction history.

**Congratulations**! You have successfully created a Stellar Wallet Address

Next, we’re going to learn how to establish a Trustline which will allow you to send and receive MBX using your new secure account.

7\. For the next step, go to [**token.mobiepay.io**](http://token.mobiepay.io/)

8\. Click on **Trustline** and accept the terms that are displayed.

9\. Copy and paste your **Public Key** and the **Private Key** you generated from Stellar and click on **Add Trustline.**

***Please note we do not store any of this information, everything is encrypted and secure. This process is followed simply to create a Trustline directly with Stellar.***

10\. Now to verify, go back to [**StellarChain.io**](http://stellarchain.io/) and click refresh, or search for your wallet history again. You should be able to see that a Trust line has been established.

**Congratulations**! You have successfully created a Stellar Wallet Address and are now able to send and receive MBX using your new secure account.
